Terms of Service

By accessing strayspark.studio or purchasing any StraySpark products — including the Procedural Placement Tool, Cinematic Spline Tool, Blueprint Template Library, and Unreal MCP Server — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our website or products.

License Grant

Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the purchased Product in your Unreal Engine projects. We offer two license tiers:

• Personal License — For individual creators or small teams with not more than $100k of revenue or funding in the last 12 months.
• Professional License — For studios or other entities with over $100k revenue or funding in the past 12 months.

Permitted Uses

• Use in unlimited personal and commercial Unreal Engine projects
• Modify the source code for your own projects
• Ship games and applications that incorporate our tools
• Use in game jam, educational, and internal studio projects

Restrictions

• You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Product source code in any form
• You may not share your license key with individuals or entities not covered by your license
• You may not include the Product source code in asset packs, templates, or other products intended for redistribution
• You may not use the Product to create a competing product that replicates its core functionality for sale

All purchases are processed through our payment provider. Prices are displayed in USD and include applicable taxes where required. By completing a purchase you authorize the payment provider to charge your payment method.

Refund Policy

Because our Products include full C++ source code that cannot be "returned," we handle refunds on a case-by-case basis. If the Product does not work as described and we cannot resolve the issue, we will issue a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Contact contact@strayspark.studio with your order details.

All products include free lifetime updates. When we release a new version, it will be available for download in your account dashboard. We provide best-effort email support for all purchased products. Priority support is available for all paying customers.

Updates are provided at our discretion. We aim to support the latest stable Unreal Engine version but do not guarantee compatibility with preview, beta, or modified engine builds.

The Unreal MCP Server connects your Unreal Editor to third-party AI services via the open Model Context Protocol. By using the MCP Server, you acknowledge:

• The MCP Server acts as a bridge between your editor and your AI client. StraySpark is not responsible for the behavior, output, or availability of third-party AI services.
• AI-generated changes to your project are your responsibility. Always review AI output and maintain version control.
• The MCP Server includes rate limiting and tool preset controls. You are responsible for configuring appropriate security settings for your environment.
• Data exchanged between the MCP Server and AI clients may include project metadata, actor names, and editor state. Ensure this is compatible with your AI provider's terms.

All StraySpark products, including source code, documentation, presets, and branding, are the intellectual property of StraySpark. Your license grants usage rights only — it does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property.

Games and applications you build using our tools are entirely yours. We claim no ownership or royalty over your shipped projects.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password or license keys with unauthorized individuals. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Our Products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While we strive for reliability and correctness, we do not guarantee that our Products will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every project configuration.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StraySpark shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Products or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product giving rise to the claim.

We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination for cause, your license to use our Products is revoked. We may also discontinue products or services at any time, though we will provide reasonable notice.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of our Products after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
